Marla’s breathwork workshop completely expanded my understanding of what breathwork can do. I went in thinking I had a handle on it from yoga classes—but I really had no idea how powerful it actually is.
What I learned is that breathwork can range from simple nervous system regulation all the way to deeply healing, almost psychedelic-level experiences. That alone was a huge eye-opener.
Beyond the practice itself, the group experience was incredibly special. Being in a space with people who are all committed to showing up, tuning in, and supporting one another created such a warm, connected, and uplifting environment. It didn’t feel like a class—it felt like a community.
I left with a much deeper appreciation for how critical breathwork can be in everyday life, especially for managing stress and reconnecting with myself. I’m really looking forward to continuing—whether that’s rejoining a group or working with Marla one-on-one—to keep building on what I learned.
If you think you already “know” breathwork, I’d still recommend this. It’s a completely different level.
